I am using LDC 1312 in one of our position sensor.
i got coil PCB designed from TI tool.
Position is sensed and analog output is given as a representation of position.
One failure observed from field where at elevated temperature (at ~60deg C) output changes from 2.5V to 4.5V even when position remains the same ,.
After replacing the coil PCB, the part is working OK up to 120 deg C
I checked the inductance resistance of both i.e NOK and OK coil PCB and found to be as
Series Inductance of NOK coil PCB(checked on LCR meter 1KHZ) : 14.4uH
Series Inductance of OK coil PCB(checked on LCR meter 1KHZ) : 15uH
DC resistance of NOK coil PCB :7.3R
DC resistance of OK coil PCB : 7.8R.
Please support to find root cause of the issue ?
What can be wrong the NOK coil PCB?
