HDC2010: What is IDDheat ?

Part Number: HDC2010

Hi expert,

My customer has question from the datasheet, there's a parameter called "IDDHEAT".

There's a description only mentioned that operating at -40~85 degree. But we are not able to understand this parameter is doing for and its purpose.

Could you please kindly help us understand this? And what is the difference between from the chart above from IDDHEAT parameter(Datasheet page 5)?

  • Dear Oliver -

Thanks for the post. There is no parameter called IDDHEAT. There are parameters for THEATER and IHEATER. THEATER is the temperature range in which the heater should be operated in, IHEATER is the typical current drawn by the device which heater is turned on.

  • Hi Oliver,

I believe you are referencing this part of the datasheet:

This parameter is indicating that once the heater activates, it has a typical current draw of 90 mA at 3.3-V operation.

    Best regards,

    Jesse
