LDC1612: Inductive Sensing LDC1612

Part Number: LDC1612

The part LDC1612DNTT shows a typical temperature coefficient of -13 ppm/deg C.

Are you able to give a maximum value that we can use for design purposes?

We are currently using an external oscillator with good specs. To lower the cost, we would like to use the internal oscillator. However, we need a maximum value for the temperature coefficient to design with.

If you are not able to give a guaranteed maximum, could you give us your best guess based on data that you have?

Sincerely,

Gary Tiani

  • Hello Gary,

We don't have the data for a maximum temperature coefficient for the internal reference clock of the LDC1612. You should be fine to design around the typical value but you will have better performance with an external oscillator. For high precision applications, we strongly recommend using an external oscillator with this device.
