IWR1642BOOST: The difference between adc_data.bin and adc_data_Raw_0.bin

Part Number: IWR1642BOOST

The customer would like to know the following info:

The customer intends to use matlab to send a lua instruction to collect data, and does not use the PostProc button in the mmwave studio.

1. Which bin file should he parse when using readDCA1000()? adc_data.bin or adc_data_Raw_0.bin?

2. What is the difference between the two bin files?

3. What is the format of adc_data_Raw_0.bin?

If adc_data.bin is needed, then do not use Packet_Reorder_Zerofill.exe <InputFileName><OutputFilename><LogFile> to convert. Instead, the lua command is sent directly to mmWavestudio via matlab: Ar1.PacketReorderZeroFill(" <studio-path>\\PostProcs\\adc_data_Raw_0.bin", " <studio-path>\\PostProc\\adc_data.bin", " <studio-path>\\PostProcs\\pktlogfile.txt "). May I know is it possible?

Please help to check this. Thanks!

Best Regards,
