Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMP392
Hi,
My customer need assistance.
I need to know the exact sensing point of these temperature sensors: LMT01 and TMP392. I have a precise application.
Please help. Thanks.

Dear Chong -
The LMT01 operates from -50°C to 150°C and has an effective resolution step size of 0.0625°C/LSB. The entire body of the part (which is small) can be considered the sensing "point" if that the meaning of your question.
The TMP392 is a temperature switch. It is also a small device and the body of it can be considered the sensing "point" as well, with the actual functional sensing trip point (in temperature scale domain) set by the external resistors.
Both devices have example layouts in their respective datasheets - please do let us know if you need layout help.
The IC itself is the temperature transducer. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Silicon_bandgap_temperature_sensor
thanks,
