Then how I can capture the data through awr1243 and process the data without using an PC .

Could you please provide more details on what you have in mind when you mention "process the data without using a PC"?

Hi Cesar,

I want to identify the object and perform some operation depending on object identification, where it must cover 150 meters ,so I have chosen AWR1243-Boost as the long range .

AWR1243 won't run alone ,So as per your team reference I brought a DCA1000EVM board ,where you can identify the object using MMWave-Studio, using post processing.

After reading your documents ,I came to know that we can trigger the AWR1243 using SPI connection using any launch-pad of TI, and we can capture the data using an FPGA board.

So we have a TM4C1249 launch-pad ,so we plan to trigger the data using launch-pad and capture the data using the FPGA board.

Normally my task is to identify the real time object and perform the distance ,the concept somehow like an ADAS system , but not for any vehicle identification

The main task is that capture the streaming data and perform the operation using AWR1243..

can i know the best solution to perform the live processing

Hi,

I think using AWR1243 will be too challenging for this project. Designing a solution based on 1243 is highly complex and will require significant expertise and time.

We have just released a new device this week that will help you achieve detection at 150m. I think you should use it for your project

Hi Cesar,

I have seen the data sheet of AWR2944 ,here also they use DCA1000EVM ,is that we process inside the DCA1000EVM in order to identify the object ..?

The processing happens inside AWR2944.

DCA1000 is used to capture raw data if needed. There is no processing

The demo sends the detected object information to a PC GUI through UART
