TMP75: Data hold time consult

Hi Team,

When customer is using our TPM75, they feel confused that why our TMP75 has maximum data hold time requirement(900ns) in D/S. I attach the screenshot below as your reference. If the hold time is beyond 900ns, what's potential risks customer may encounter? Could you pls help us explain that? Many thanks.

    Hi Stanley,

    Thank you for posting to the Sensing forum.

    These maximum hold time values are taken from the UM10204 I²C-bus specification. Within a margin, the TMP75 is able to tolerate faster timing than what is stated in the datasheet. As a target device, the TMP75 is only sensitive to minimum hold and setup times.
