Dear team

Could  TMP100 get the temperature data per one-second?

For 12bit test condition. Does the conversion time means the temperature data will update every 320ms?

    Hi Denny,

    Yes, if the device is in continuous conversion mode(shutdown mode = 0), the conversion time typical spec is 320ms and the temperature registers will update after every conversion with the most recent results.  The customer can read these results as frequently as they require.    

    The device also features a one-shot mode where a single measurement is made on-demand.  Section 7.5.3.6 of the datasheet describes this.  This can be used to keep the device in shutdown mode until a measurement is needed reducing the total current consumption.
