Hi Arindam,
We do not have a clear specification for approximate maximum mounting height as it can also be highly dependent on your specific application. The IWR6843ISK-ODS can definitely be flexible and accommodate a variety of applications. It has an 120° azimuth field-of-view (FoV) and 120° elevation FoV. Even if you have to position the sensor high up, you can compensate by adjusting the tilt angle more downward to still accurately detect and track people. Additionally, there are a variety of user programmable configuration options that you can use to fine tune your specific sensor height and tilt angle placement and overall improve the detection and tracking of targets.
Please see the following e2e post for reference about adjusting height and tilt angle.
Please see the tuning guides for tracker and detection layer to learn how you can fine tune configuration settings for your setup.
Also if you go to the 3D people counting demo user guide, we have suggestions on an appropriate positioning of the sensor in terms of height and tilt angle for a basic people detection application example.

Hope this helps address your questions.
