TDC7200: Signal steps during measurement

Hi everybody

During continuous measuring (in averaging 64 mode) with the TDC7200 the signals sometimes shows some steps at start, end and middle. I try to searching for the cause of this problem but was not successful until now and would like to ask you if you have ever seen such signal anomalies and if you know from what this behavior could come from? i.e. calibration, dirsturbances ..

    Hi Thomas,

    I have not encountered an issue like this before. 

    Is there any correlation with other events with when you see the steps?

    Additionally, have you tried to test any other settings to see if the occurrence of steps are in any way affected by register settings?

    Finally, are you confident the steps are coming form the TDC7201 and not the function generator/ signal source?

    I will attempt to recreate the setup myself to see if I can replicate your observation.
