Hi,

I have doubt in regarding AMC6821 application 

1) can we connect 24V fan to  AMC6821
2)If we have any application circuits for 24V fan , share those files.

    Hi Srinivas,

    AMC6821 cannot tolerate more than 5V (6.5V Abs Max) on its pins. It would be compatible with a 24V fan if the proper precautions are taken to protect it from the 24V. 

    On the TACH input, a resistor network can divide down the input voltage.

    On the PWM output, an appropriate gate should be used to switch the high voltage. The PWM resistor would need to be pulled up to 5V, but the gate could switch a load of higher voltage if designed correctly.
