Hi,

I have been evaluating AWR6843AOPEVM, so far have good understanding of it.

I saw it can be combined with MMWAVEICBOOST and DCA1000, but not sure exact function of each board, could you advise?

Also, what does it provide, if I have below two setup?

  • AWR6843AOPEVM + MMWAVEICBOOST
  • AWR6843AOPEVM + MMWAVEICBOOST + DCA1000

I thought with all three connected, it can provide "raw data", does this mean ADC data or point cloud data (at what stage?) or something else?

In order to run all 3 connected, do I need to load specific firmware to any of these boards? (I have AOPEVM already flashed with other application)

    MMWAVEIC BOOST is an adopter card to bring out more I/Os and other interfaces from the AWR6843AOP card. It also includes XDS JTAG which means that it can be connected to Code Composer Studio (CCS) IDE for development purposes. 

    DCA1000 card is used to collect the ADC data streamed from AWR6843AOP device over LVDS interface and sent the captured data to PC over ethernet.

    Raw data here means ADC data from the device
