DRV5056: Sensor precision

We would like to know the sensor precision in mm. 

Also, we would like to derive the transfer function of at least the Vout distance relationship between a magnet and the sensor in function of the (x,y) coordinates of the magnet, relatively to the sensor.

    The precision obtained would depend on various factors, such as the device specifications (noise, quiescent voltage offset and drift, sensitivity error and drift, etc. ), the magnetic flux density sensed by the device (this in turn depends on the magnet specifications and the magnet to sensor position), how much calibration is performed (room temperature offset calibration, room temperature gain calibration, offset drift calibration, sensitivity drift calibration, etc.), and how much the software oversamples the results from the DRV5056.

    You can use our proximity sensing tool to determine the observed magnetic flux density readings based on the specifications of the selected magnet and the magnet to sensor position.
