    Hello Felix,

    Thanks for posting to the Sensing forum! We currently do not have any transformer EVMs available that work with the TDC1000-C2000EVM, I typically would not recommend using TDC1000 in use with metal, the signal gets significantly attenuated as it travels through metal. You could use a transformer circuit as mentioned but the other concern would be the return echoes. The device must interpret the incoming echo signal and since it does not have much available gain the SNR might not be favorable. As mentioned by Jacob in your previous post I would recommend proceeding with TUSS4470.

    We do have the schematic to an old EVM attachment the TDC1000-GASEVM that is no longer offered. This was an attachment for the TDC1000-C2000EVM, you can take a look at it here if you would like to create a transformer similar to it: https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/sniu026a/sniu026a.pdf
