Hello TI Team,
In AWR1843AOP, we are implementing CAN functionality. In earlier benchmarking we verified that DCAN module works properly with our CAN system.
But in actual design we cant use DCAN module because CAN pins are used for SPI which is required.
We are thinking to use CAN FD (MCAN module) which has multiple pins. Datasheet says that CAN_FD module is compatible with classic CAN and CAN_FD
If we configure CAN_FD module as non-CAN_FD, shall it work as DCAN?
Please can you share your opinion on CAN_FD compatibility with classic CAN?
