TMP114EVM: Are there limitations on the size of the "mydata.csv" file generated by the web version of the TMP114EVM GUI?

I am trying to evaluate the TMP114, so I need to log the TMP114 data for comaprison against another temperature sensor. I have connected the web GUI, and it displays the temperature values, and i can also start logging that data to a file (mydata.csv) - but if I leave the test runnin for more than a few minutes, when I return, the file shows "canceled" and I have lost all the data.

is there a size or time limit on how much data can be saved to the .csv file?
Is the web GUI interrupted if my screen turns off after some period of inactivity?
Is the Windows GUI a better option?

Hi Dwight,

Thank you for posting to the Sensing forum.

There is not a specific file size or time limit that would cause the .csv file to be canceled this way. The file stream connection may drop due to a hardware or other reported problem, or if the system goes to sleep during logging.

Thank you Nicole Khoury. I installed the Windows version of the TMP114EVM GUI, and it seems to keep on logging to a .csv for long periods with no problems, even if my screen turns off, so I am "good to go" now!
