DCA1000EVM: Is a Diamond Programmer from Lattice required for DCA1000EVM?

Hi community member,

It is occurred the following error when we try to DCA1000EVM and mmwave studio gui according to Quick Start Guide.

Please let me know the cause of this error.
Do we need to install the Diamond Progrramer?
If it is needed, please share the link.
I don't find it from the guide.

Hi Cruijff,

It is not recommended to use the Lattice Diamond programmer and mmWave Studio together. You only need to use mmWave studio to program the device and capture data.

Do need we uninstall diamond programmer if our PC is installed it?

Cruijff,

You should not need to uninstall Diamond programmer. Just use mmWave Studio to program the DCA1000.
