Hello,

I just would like to use some sensors in that arrangement

That requires address definition and reading of four sensor by a RPi

any hints for python libraries, capable of doing so?

PCB of thw probe will be ordered, so I need to give the producer the sensor data for ordering.

Hello,

Thank you for posting to the Sensing forum.

You can use 4 HDC3022 at the same time since the device has 4 separate I2C addresses.

We currently do not have any code on sysconfig for the HDC3020. However, we plan on adding C code on Sysconfig in the next few weeks and it can be used with different microcontrollers. You can also view the basic programming flowcharts on the HDC3020 Silicon User Guide.

Is it feasible to place four sensors on the PCB hardwiring address pins connected to VDD?

Hello,

You can use 4 HDC3020s in the configuration as shown in your previous post. You will need to use the correct pull up resistors and bypass caps.

Hello, do you really think I need additional circuitry?
"The ADDR and ADDR0 pins should be connected directly to GND, VDD, or left open for address selection of four possible unique target ID addresses per the addressing scheme Table 8-2."

Hello,

You won't need any additional circuitry if you connect the pins directly to VDD or GND. Your four addresses can be configured as below

Addr        Addr1
______________
NC/GND NC/GND
NC/GND VDD
VDD   NC/GND
VDD   VDD

Thanks- and regarding software:
I will pull reactions from each of the sensors separately by including the address in the communication or will all sensors fire their answers automatically, hopefully separated...

You will need to communicate with the sensors using their individual addresses. You can find the programming section to communicate with the device in the Silicon User Guide.
