TMP431: SEU Cross Section Info Request

Hi there,

Looking for SEU cross-sectioning of device (units are typically something like n.nnnx10^-15 cm^2 per bit). It appears to be this device is COTS and not tested for SEU, not sure if data of TPM461 can be used as "similarity" criteria?

TMP461-SP is specially qualified for radiation while TMP431 is not. TMP431 design is not related to TMP461. You will have to choose a radiation tolerant product from TI to get the information you are looking for.

Thanks Ren. I understand that TMP431 is not qualified for radiation but we are attempting to certify existing product for radiation for one of our customer...so phasing in TMP461 is not an option. My question is if we use radiation data of TMP461 for TMP431 base on "similarity criteria", is it justifiable?

No, TMP461 is a different design built on different technology.
