Hello Experts,

My customer has a plan to buy IWR6843ISK or IWR6843ISK_ODS. They would like to run "68xx Vital Signs" demo from Industrial Toolbox.

1) Is the data flow same as below?

2) Can they output data after phase differences? If yes, how can they output?

Best regards,
Ken

  • Hello Ken,

The screenshot you included is for our older 1642 lab. Our latest lab for the IWR68xx is documented here (TIREX). This lab is done at a fixed range bin but does use phase differences. The filters are slightly different in this newer version of the lab.

Our latest lab that I would point your customers towards is our Vital Signs with People Tracking lab (TIREX) which combines our people counting algorithm with the vital signs algorithm. The source code is available under NDA with a development guide. If your customer is interested in this please feel free to reach out over email.

    Thank you,

  • Thank you, Angie.

You mentioned "does use phase differences". Can our customer output data after phase differences? If yes, how can they output?

    Best regards,
    Ken

  • Hi Ken,

The phase differences can be investigated while running the program in CCS debug. To output these phase differences the customer would need to modify the output function. This is an exercise that involves modifying multiple files in both the dss and mss source code.

    Thank you,

    Angie
