AWR6843AOPEVM: Is there any way to get HRV(RRI) value directly from TI AWR6843AOPEVM?

Part Number: AWR6843AOPEVM

Hi, everyone.

I am currently looking over the Vital_Signs_With_People_Tracking source applied with TI's latest vital sign algorithm.

And I can understand to get the heart rate and breathing rate values from the VitalSignsDemo_OutputStats_t structure in the vitalsign.h file.

But I'm hoping to get the Heart Rate Variation (HRV) value.

That value can usually be obtained through RRI, but I would like to ask whether it is possible that HRV value can be obtained with TI AWR6843AOPEVM.

Thank you in advance.

Best Regards.

HB.

  • Hello HB,

Thank you for reaching out on this forum, this source code is under NDA so I will be limited in what I can speak to here but if you reach out to your TI sales representatives we can discuss this more.

I am going to looking into whether HRV is calculatable with our vital signs radar data and get back to you. We can discuss if it is possible here, but any details will need to be discussed offline.

    Thank you,

    Angie

  • Hello Angie.

Thank you for your sincerely and quick reply.

In the case of Vital_Signs_With_People_Tracking source code, please refer that because NDA has been established

between my company and TI so the source code received from TI in advance.

For my inquiries regarding HRV, I look forward to your feedback.

    Thank you in advance.

  • Hi,

Yes the NDA is established. However, this is a public forum so we cannot discuss the details of the code here. Please instead work through Richard Park.

    Thank you,

    Angie

  • Hi, Angie.

First of all, I understand and agree with your opinion.

However, I only inquired about whether there is a way to obtain additional HRV values in the situation where HR and BR values are output in the demo version of TI Vital Sign, and if possible, only feedback about the contents.

I hope you understand that I am not asking for a source-based explanation of the answers to these questions.

    Thank you.
