LMP91200: LMP91200: Ph sensor integration

Part Number: LMP91200
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMP91000

Hello, this is pavan

We are trying to integrate pH1000 Sensorex ph sensor to LMP91200 AFE of texas.

Kindly provide details on how to connect the sensor to chipset directly or do we need to make any pcb with some circuit to obtain sensor data.

Also, what is the range of output by LMP91200, and how it can be connected to MCU.

  • Pavan,

The datasheet has all of the answers to your questions except one. Texas Instruments no longer supports an EVM or development board for this part.

There are a few application notes on line that talk about designing with this part. They are a good reference.

The data sheet provides a good example of how to design a PCB for your application. In the Data sheet it clearly shows a controller connected to the board using an ADC input to the controller. The output of the LMP91200 is analog.

Look through the E2E post for this part and the LMP91000 as the E2E post have provided answers to everything you have asked and everything you are about to ask.

Once you have thoroughly read through these documents, then please feel free to come back here with your questions. Otherwise I will just copy and paste the other E2E post here for you.

Good Luck, it's not hard just has a little learning curve.
