DRV5032: Searching TI solution

Part Number: DRV5032
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMAG5123, TMAG5328, TMAG5124

Hi Team

There is a good new that we could DIN TI product!

My customer is currently looking for a Switch Effect Sensor.

They want to bury a magnet on the Lens module so that the smart device can detect this lens.

1. It seem DRV5032 can be the solution,  Is DRV5032  still the main force? Or please help suggest TI solution ,THX

2. Is there a Q version of DRV5032 ? Please help to recommend ,THX (Because this will be applied to the car in the future)

  • Kygo,

Thanks for reaching out.  DRV5032 is a popular device given the low power consumption and the various sensitivity ranges that it offers.  However, there are several newer devices which may be more suitable to the customer depending on the physical geometry and their system requirements.  For example, TMAG5328 allows for them to set the threshold level directly using an external set resistor. TMAG5124 is a two wire solution that works well in a remote configuration over long wires.  TMAG5123 is an in plane switch that allows the customer to detect In-Plane magnetic fields using a SOT-23 package.  In comparison, DRV5032 in this package is sensitive to the vertical component, but TMAG5123 will detect a horizontal field component.

You can find a complete listing of our switch devices including which have Q1 variants here:
