IWR6843ISK-ODS: [C674X_0] out of DDR heap memory!

I tried to use the IWR6843ISK-ODS with the pc_6843_3d_aop_overhead_3m_radial.cfg. This is working all right, but as soon as I use the AOP_6m_default.cfg, I see the [C674X_0] out of DDR heap memory! message.

Both cfg file are unchanged and taken from ti\mmwave_industrial_toolbox_4_12_0\labs\People_Counting

What could be wrong here?

    Hi,

    Is there a specific reason why you are using the AOP Configurations with the ISK-ODS, rather than the equivalent configuration which is intended to be used with the ODS?

    Yes, there is a specific reason.

    We are using the Mystral AOP device and noticed that in a test the pc_6843_3d_aop_overhead_3m_radial.cfg works as expected and the AOP_6m_default.cfg did not. So to see what is happening, we did the same with the debugger tool, that is IWR6843ISK-ODS on the MMWAVEICBOOST.

    Okay, so to be clear, you saw an issue on the 3rd party AOP module, and are trying to debug the problem using a TI ISK-ODS EVM? I am a bit concerned that the problem may not be identical on the two different modules, but this seems okay for now. Does the behavior of the issue appear to be the same for both at least?

    Hi,

    I can only see that the Mystral device stops responding on the CLI. So I assume(..) that the behaviour is the same, but not sure as debugging the 3rd party AOP is not possible as far as I know.

    Hi Bob,

    The pc_6843_3d_aop_overhead_3m_radial config file is meant for the overhead people counting code, whereas the AOP_6m_default config file is meant for the non-overhead people counting code. Please use (and modify to your needs) a config file designed for the binary flashed onto your device.
