TMCS1100-Q1: TMCS1100-Q1 selection

Dear experts,

We need to measure the voltage value corresponding to the forward current (20mA~7A) and the voltage value corresponding to the reverse current (about - 30mA) to distinguish, and then judge whether to turn off the output
Can TMCS1100-Q1 chip be used.

    The challenge here will be on the smaller ends of current. Hall sensors are inherently noisy devices, and as such are not great for small measurements. How much resolution does the customer need at the lower ends of measurement here?

    The reverse current is about - 30mA. A dead load of - 10~- 20mA can be added to the front end. The minimum forward current is about 20mA

    just okay if it can measure the change of 50mA

    The challenge here as I mentioned earlier is going to be the noise floor of the device. For example if you used the A4 variant, the noise density of this device is 225 uA/sqrt(Hz). Over the full BW, this calculates to 63.6mArms, which means your measurement is going to be right around the noise floor of the device on the lower ends. You can, however, throttle the BW of the device to lower this value to something you may be able to accept for the application.
