The LMP91000 is an AFE (Analog Front End). It has a precision voltage output with a transimpedance amplifier that will measure the current in a probe. Most probes are just a Wheatstone bridge, with one leg that is sensitive to gasses. The change in resistance to a gas changes the current through the bridge. The transimpedance amplifier will convert the voltage drop in the sensitive leg of the bridge to a voltage. (Current to voltage converter)
You would have 750uA available to you to drive the linear sensor. If this current is in range then yes it will work.
It is the gas sensor that makes this part unique. Other than that it is a straight forward circuit.
(Precision voltage source supplying a resistive sensor. The current in the sensor is converted to a voltage by the transimpedance amplifier and sent out to be measured with an ADC. It has a zero function, but you could lower the zero and increase the overall range of the output.)
