OPT4001: OPT4001 support android 12

Hi team,

my customer is using a NXP processor ( MIMX8XMN6DVTJZAA)

they said their  system OS is Android 12 not Linux, and somehow they want the light sensor output to be 8 bit I2C instead 16 bit.

would you help me check do we have a kernel code for android that can support the need I mentioned?
