Could you please share the drive strength of SIO pin of PTMP126EDCKTQ1 ( Sink/Source current)

In customer circuit there shall be a possibility to sink 5mA current by this SIO pin at 5V VDD. We would like to know whether it makes any problem to this IC?

Datasheet test conditions are 3mA source/sink for SIO pin.

Hi Prahlad,

The datasheet test conditions of 3mA define the logic levels for the device under the 3mA load. The logic level could be undefined with a 5mA sink/source current.

Hi Jalen,

In customer circuit there is possibility to sink 5mA current by this SIO pin at 5V VDD. Is this device recommended or do you have any other device recommendaiton?

Do you expect device failure or temporary undefined state whenever 5mA is source/sink, and device may funciton as expected once SIO current reduces to 3mA?

Unfortunately I can't comment further on expected device behavior beyond 3 mA current sink capabilities. We don't have any other temperature sensors that meet this 5 mA current sink requirement.
