LDC2114EVM: Nominal button triggering threshold

I’m currently using the LDC2114EVM as a test for metal sensing. For design purposes i would like to lower the nominal button triggering threshold from 128 to 10. Is this possible or is there a work around I can use?

The reasoning behind this, is that I want the baseline tracking to track with very low measurements.

Hello Daan,

The hysteresis setting in the HYST register impacts the threshold level but there is not a way to change the center value away from 128. However, you can alter the gain of the button using the GAINx registers. Increasing the gain will have the same effect you are looking for.
