IWR6843ISK-ODS: DCA1000EVM

Directly connected the DCA1000evm to the IWR6843ISK-ODS, then connected to the laptop using an Ethernet wire.

As shown in the picture below, the AR-DevPack-EVM appears, but the next step, XDS 110, does not appear. (I also did the IP setting as it is in the user guide)

I downloaded the EMUpack as it is in the user guide, but the XDS110 still does not appear.

Is EMUpack not compatible with IWR6843? I would appreciate it if you could tell me how to get XDS110 on the device manager port.

Hello,

The reason the XDS110 port does not appear is because this is a port specifically on the MMWAVEICBOOST. If you are using the DCA1000 then I imagine you are trying to collect raw data? What revision of 6843ISK-ODS do you have? If you have Rev B then you are able to collect raw data WITHOUT a MMWAVEICBOOST. Yes, my IWR6843ISK-ODS is Rev B. Then can I collect raw data from mmwave studio even if XDS110 port does not appear? Or does RevB show XDS110 port without mmwave boost?

Hello,

The XDS110 port is the name of the port specifically on the mmwaveICBOOST. When using the 6843ISK-ODS in standalone mode, you should see two ports which will be the CFG_Port: Silicon Labs Dual CP2105 USB to UART Bridge: Enhanced COM Port. As well as the DATA_Port: Silicon Labs Dual CP2105 USB to UART Bridge: Standard COM Port.

The four ports you have listed are the DCA1000 ports.
