IWR6843: Using power optimization libraries with custom design based on IWR6843ISK rev A using old toolbox and SDK

Hi Christoffer,

Let me check with the hardware team about the Rev A / Rev B question for the PCB. I would recommend porting your code to SDK 3.5 rather than trying to port the low-power libraries back to SDK 3.1. Those libraries may work with the old SDK, but if that's what you want to try, you'll have to test them yourself as they're not designed to be backwards compatible.

Hi! Thanks for your answer. In the document MMWAVE SDK Release Notes it says that it is only Rev B that is supported, see the attached photo. We have Rev A with silicone revision of the IC. So are you sure that it is not a problem?

    We have two boards solution 

1) IWR6843ISK variant : Revision history is provided above.

2) MMWAVEICBOOST Board : Only Rev B is released on ti.com, Rev A is use internal to TI only, Rev A to Rev B fix is shown below. This change has nothing to do with SDK,

 For the mmWAVEICBOOST board revA is used only within TI, Only RevB board is launched on ti.com,

Hence could you please post the picture of the mmWAVEICBOOST board  pictures?

Okay, I have attached a photo of the mmWAVEICBOOST pcb. But I understand that this pcb has nothing to do with the SDK. I know for sure that the IWR6843ISK that we have is of the REV A. It is also clear that in the MMWAVE SDK Release Notes it says it only supports IWR6843 ES2.0. REV A of the IWR6843ISK is populated with the IWR6843 ES1.0. So I guess that the ISK REV A is not supoorted. Is that correct?
