HDC3022: Is rehydration required?

Does the Digital Relative Humidity Sensor HDC3022 requires rehydration after PCBA soldering process? Is there a long term impact in case of not implementing a rehydration process?

    Dear Ivan - 

    Yes, rehydration is required for all polymer based %RH sensors after the soldering process. The impact, or what will be noticed short term, if tested directly after soldering/assembly on PCB, but before rehydration, is that the %RH levels reported back will be lower than actual.
