TMP461-SP: Inquiry for electrical parameters not listed in datasheet of subject part number.

Hello,

 

I am working on a derating analysis per document number MDA-QS-003-PMAP-REVC (Appendix A), and wanted to know if you have more data available than what your datasheet has provided me. I am specifically inquiring the (1) max parameter for output current, (2) typical parameter for input current, (3) typical parameter for serial bus clock frequency, (4) max parameter for junction temperature in degrees Celsius, and (5) typical parameter for junction temperature in degrees Celsius.     Hi DeAndre,

    Thank you for posting to the Sensing forum.

    (1) Output current is specified in Section 6.5 of the datasheet for different modes and bus frequencies.

    (2) Input current is only specified at an absolute max of 10 mA. Please note that this is a stress rating, and exposure to absolute maximum conditions for extended periods may degrade device reliability.

    (3) There is no typical specification for serial bus clock frequency. The TMP461-SP can operate with an SCL operating frequency between 0.001 and 2.17 MHz, but this device is an I2C target and does not control clock frequency.

    (4) Section 6.1 specifies the absolute maximum junction temperature as 150 °C.

    (5) There is no typical parameter for junction temperature, as this will depend on the condition of each system. Recommended operating conditions for this device are -55 to 125 °C.
