TMP421: DXP and DXN not used connections

For the TMP421, the data sheet states "If the remote channel is not utilized, DXP can be left open or tied to GND." However, nothing is stated about the DXN pin. How shall I connect the DXN pin? My application will not used the external sensor option.

Dear Barry -

The DXN pin in this device is GND. On page 23 of the TMP42x datasheet, on page 23 "Sensor Fault" section - there is direct instruction (for the TMP421) to connect DXP to DXN together when not using the remote channel, to prevent meaningless fault warnings.

Thanks for the quick reply and obviously I didn't get far enough down into the data sheet.
