LDC1612: LDC1612 design related

The accuracy depends on the implementation of the encoder. We have a couple different examples of rotational sensing with the LDC product line that can be referenced: 

• 1º Dial Using the LDC1314 Inductance-to-Digital Converter Design Guide
• LDC1312 Incremental Encoder Knob Design Guide

The accuracy that you get depends on the implementation method of the encoder as well as the coil and target design. If there is a desired accuracy for the application, you can keep that in mind in the design process to try to achieve it.
