IWR6843ISK: How can I modify the xy graphs limits on the Human Vital Signs Measurement Demo

Hi,

1. Capture the showed raw datas in the Demo to get it on Matlab or another way

Can you please describe which data you are referring to as "raw data"? Are you looking for radar raw ADC data or point cloud information?

2. Modify the xy limits  the Demo\

Are you referring to the x-y limits of the detection area teh radar is looking for?

In addition can you please share which lab you are using?

2. I'm using the 68xx_vital_signs lab, and I'm refereing to the x axis and y axis for the all graphs: breathing waveform, heart waveform, chest displacement and range profile.

1. The point cloud information is sent via UART to the PC. This is then parsed by the PC in the file "gui_parser.py". You can modify the python code to save the data to a file and use that data in matlab. 2. Awesome, this is controlled by the various "boundarybox" commands in the configuration file. The values for these 3 boundary box commands should be set with boundarybox set slightly larger than the staticboundarybox and presenceboundarybox. The values are -x x -y y -z z in terms of direction.

1. The sent link is related to the "3D People Counting lab" and not vital sign lab. The "bin2fhist_3DPC.m" code could not be applied to the Vital sign Demo. So, It's not relevant for my issue!!

2. Which configurtaion file, you are talking about?

1. Regarding the reading of saved cloud points from the vital sign demo, the dataOutputFromEVM.bin is updated at each data saving. So, how can I read this binary file?

1. I am sorry for the confusion, which version of the toolbox are you using? The vital signs with people counting visualizer shares common source code with the people counting visualizer and in the latest radar toolbox the people counting and vital signs visualizers have been combined into one visualizer. 

2. There is a file which ends in ".cfg" that you send to the visualizer. this is the file I am talking about.

2. You are refering to this file xwr68xx_profile_VitalSigns_20fps_Front.cfg. If yes, there is not "boundarybox" command inside this file.

I am so sorry, we recently deprecated the "vital signs" lab and in our latest release (radar_toolbox) we did not include this lab. The responses I was giving you were related to our "Vital Signs with People Tracking" lab. 

I would recommend switching to using our Vital Signs with People Tracking lab: https://dev.ti.com/tirex/explore/node?node=A__AMK61TkbsnY89Axyqsuxmw__radar_toolbox__1AslXXD__LATEST&placeholder=true 

This lab will allow you to more easily extract point cloud data and will automatically modify the range it looks for vital signs in based on the location of the person in the scene.
