Hi all,

We are in the process of setting up the standard cascade demonstration example with the DSP and CAS boards.

We are looking ahead to the next steps once this is up and running. We will want to make some tweaks and changes to avoid starting from scratch.
Is the source code available for download somewhere? Or is this something TI are able to provide?

Hi Tom,

Please look up Processor radar SDK 3.8 which can be found here.

PROCESSOR-SDK-RADAR Software development kit (SDK) | TI.com

The same has some basic demos with which you can get started on. You can also browse the e2e forums which has a few questions answered regarding getting started. Documentation is also provided within the SDK package.

Hi Kaushik,

This is exactly the kind of thing we are looking for but it has not been updated since 2019. Is this correct?
It seems very old, we have a much newer revision E (2.0?) board - is there a newer one available for download?

Tom, that was the latest version of the SDK available and has been discontinued since. It does however support all versions of the EVM.

Hi Kaushik,

Thanks for confirming that this will still all work.

One question though, you mention that this has been discontinued. Does this mean that equipment we have (MMWCAS-DSP-EVM + MMWCAS-RF-EVM) is no longer recommended for new designs?
Are there newer versions of the equipment that we should be using?

Hi Tom,

The EVM setup that you are currently using is still good to be used as a reference design. There have been no further versions or revisions of the same.
