LM96163: PWM function doesn't work.

Dear Expert,

We are facing an issue that the register sets are (0x4A) =0x20 and (0x4D)=0x17, but It's still can't adjust the PWM duty by modifying 0x4c (0~46).

The PWM pin level is always high. I can't control PWM duty in manual mode. The following figure is the LM96163 circuit, please have a look at this issue. Thank you.

Hi Joseph,

Have you reviewed the initial setup table?

In manual mode (PWPGM=1), you must write to 0x4C PWM Value Register to control the PWM output.

Hi Ren,
Thanks for your feedback. Yes, we are following the initial setup table.
Since we aren't using an external remote diode in our application, so leave D+/D- floating currently.
I've referred to another ticket "LM96163: Eliminate use of Remote Diode", after short D+/D- the PWM function can be controlled and normal operation.
