Hi team,
I can see HDC3022 ptfe cover protects from water or dust in datasheet.
Can HDC3022 be used in sulfur gas like hydrogen sulfide (H2S), by protecting its cover?
Best regards,
Kento

Hi Sato-san,
Thank you for posting to the Sensing forum.
The HDC3022 PTFE filter protects the sensor from particles down to 100 nm in size. The sensing element should not be exposed to volatile chemicals, as the filter will not block the gas particles and it may cause the %RH output to shift. If the chemical exposure is a concern during assembly, a piece of Kapton tape can be placed over the sensor and removed before operation.
Best regards,
Nicole
Do you have any cases that HDC302x was used in sulfur gas like hydrogen sulfide (H2S)?

Kento
We have some data for chemical exposure in the HDC3x Silicon Users Guide but there is no case for hydrogen sulfide specifically. Section 2.2 has more details on the chemical analysis that was completed.
Best regards,
Nicole
