What is the maximum number of people this sensor board is able to track and count?

Hi Tommy,

There is a limit for 5 people built into the software right now. This can be configured in the cfg file too.

Thanks for the reply.
I guess we need to do some testing then.
I guess in a crowded area there can be like 10-20 people in the sensors range of view.
What is the main problem when trying to count multiple people?

Hi Tommy,

The limiting factor for the IWRL6432 is likely angular resolution. If you need a higher performance people counting solution, I would recommend the IWR6843. The IWR6843 has better angular resolution than the IWRL6432.
