TMCS1123: Does TMCS1126 have "OCP Hold Time"?

Part Number: TMCS1123

Hi team,

1.Does TMCS1123/1126 have "OCP Hold Time"?   The minimum time OCP flag will be asserted after a sufficient OCP

event. (Like tHOLD in the  ACS37002);

2.What time does "Current Overload Recovery Time" refer to? Is it the time from circuit overcurrent to circuit recovery?

 Thanks!

Best Regards,

Guohai Lin

  • Hello Guohai,

    Thank you for using the TI forum. Here are my responses to your questions:

    1. No, there is no hold time for the over current alert.
    2. The “Current Overload Recovery Time” is the time it takes for the output to be valid after the device output has been saturated from overcurrent.

    Regards,

    Mitch
