I am trying to set up a simple experiment using the LDC1614EVM to validate the sensitivity to compression state of a metal spring in a plastic housing ...
I can show that the inductive sensors appear well able to work for this task ....
BUT I have a general question on how to set up the sensors so that they do NOT get swamped with just the capacitive coupling of nearby body parts to which the sensing coils are EXTREMLY sensitive too.
I am sure there is something I am doing wrong.
I Have read every reference document I can find and non of them appear to show ways to suppress the capacitive coupling sensitivity and just respond to the inductance of metallic presence ?
