Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISOTMP35
Hi,
The DSG version has a exposed pad. May it be connected to V+?
Thanks.

Exposed pad must be connected to GND or left floating.
thanks,

My comment doesn't conflict with Simon's. We both advised to connect the pad to GND or left electrically floating. There is a potential electrical path from the pad to the IC, but this device was not designed to make use of the path. The thermal pad cannot be connected to other voltages, because it will cause system short and/or EOS damage to the device. To connect the thermal pad to another voltage, you need packaging which has electrical isolation. See ISOTMP35, which solves this problem.
