HDC2010EVM: Application issues of chips

Part Number: HDC2010EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: HDC2010

We use HDC2010 "found that at 25 °C, 40% humidity should be the critical value of your demo board, this is the data read by the board is just 5% larger than the 40% set by the test environment, so when the humidity is 30%, 20%, the data measured by the demo board is 5% larger than the environmental humidity, which is about 7-8% larger, when the humidity is greater than 40% (60%), although the measured data is also larger, but still within your 5% error, in short, the overall phenomenon is that the lower the humidity, the greater the error, so please help to confirm whether the SENSOR itself also has deviations that need to be calibrated, or what measures to correct, thank you!

  • Hello,

How much has this EVM been used in the past, or is it new? Has it been subjected to any soldering rework, exposed to any chemicals such as board cleaners, acids, VOCs, etc.? Do you only see this issue on 1 EVM? If you have others, how to they read?

The HDC2010 is factory calibrated, so a user should not need to make any changes to the device for it to read RH accurately.

    Thanks
