OPT3004: Driver compatibility for OPT3004 for kernel 5.4

Hi TI Team,

We are using OPT3004 over the I2C at kernel version 5.4 , qcs610 Soc for ip camera usecase. I can able to see the driver for OPT3001 driver as part of my kernel. both OPT3001 and OPT3004 are not completely same.

Here my doubt is that, can i use the same driver of OPT3001 for OPT3004. or else please provide the driver for OPT3004 to integrate.

Hi Adigarla,

The OPT3001 and OPT3004 are digitally the same, the only difference is the improved filter on the 3004, so the same drivers will work.

I seen below reply in one of the question in this forum.

Please see the selected text , actually, here we are using the OPT1004 for ipcamera usecase only. That's why i have asked for driver compatibility.

Now please confirm me,

like, i can go with driver of OPT3001 for OPT3004.
