Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMP63-Q1, TMP64-Q1
Dear BU,
My customer used TMP61-Q1 and they want to know how to change the Rbias. Does it settle down by 10Kohm or could customer change to other value.

Hi Chris,
The Rbias cannot be changed in the design tool. The reason for this is that TMP6 family of thermistors are not resistors and ohm's law does not apply. The TMP6 effective resistance varies over current and as such, changing the Rbias would require characterization. I should also add that if using a TMP64-Q1 the Rbias will be 47k ohm and if using a TMP63-Q1 the Rbias will be 100k ohm according to their effective R at 25C.
Best regards,
Simon Rojas
