Hello Good Day, I really need help on how to deal with my undergrad thesis

The aim of my thesis is to create a device capable of displaying real-time information of a river's depth and flow velocity onto an OLED Screen (hoping to display only numerical information not a graph). Our thesis is based on the study conducted by Meng-en Ma and Yueli Li titled "Hydrological Information Measurement Using an MM-Wave FMCW Radar" where they used the AWR1642 EVM (we also use the same for our thesis) to obtain the raw data by using AWR1642 and processed in MATLAB. The recorded data is then transferred over the UART interface to a PC for signal processing. Our plan is to do the same but no computer is to be involved (I think which is impossible). How do I proceed with my thesis? (P.S: I don't have the devPack nor the DCA1000 EVM, just the AWR1642 and the OLED).

    Without the DCA you won't be able to capture the raw adc data, which you will be needing for the post processing. As an alternative if you are using the demo program from TI only, you can visualize the point cloud objects generated by the demo in the mmwave demo visualizer, but you will not get any raw adc data from there for post processing. The visualizer app is meant to be used in conjunction with the mmwave sdk demo running on the TI Evaluation module (EVM) for mmWave devices.
