Hello,

I understand there are several competitors who use hall effect sensors to detect current. I also do they can support external current rail using busbar to support high current like 500A or even higher than that, but I don't see such comments in the datasheets, application notes or E2E. Can your products support external current rail by busbar? I don't see any reasons why other competitors can do, but your hall effect current sensors can't since the competitors should use the same architecture.

Hello Yoshikazu,

We currently do not have an ideal solution. Our hall sensors like the TMCS1126 have a differential to remove ambient filed. Our other hall sensor are design for position sensing and have properties ideal for magnet position sensing. The other device we have that has only a few implementation due to the limiting of mechanicals required are here: https://www.ti.com/tool/DRV425-BUSBAR-EVM It is with flux-gate which requires a modification of the busbar.

Thank you for your comments. I don't think I'm the only one who wants to ask you to support busbar by TMCSxxx, so I hope you'll have a roadmap to cover that in the near future.
