AWR1843AOPEVM: MRRBeamsteering not giving data on visualizer.

Hi TI,

In our application we are working on MRR Beamsteering. When we flash the default code bin file generated from CCS, it is not giving data on the MRR Beamsteering visualizer. So, we decided to do debugging using MMWAVE IC BOOST. It is printing "Sensor will start momentarily" on the console of CCS. After seeing the "Sensor will start momentarily" we started the MRR Beamsteering visualizer, still it is not sending any data to the GUI.

What are the changes we need to make in MRR Beamsteering to work on AWR1843AOP EVM ?

    Hi Rashmika,

    Check if you entered the correct COM port when you open the visualizer. Also enable Near checkbox and check if the plot is updating.

    Instead of opening the visualizer, use some terminal emulator like Tera Term to check if the data is received over the Data port.

    MRR Beamsteering demo should work on AWR1843AOP without any changes.
