    Hi Brian,

    A slight undershoot is acceptable however, I would recommend mitigating this undershoot level since it is very close to absolute minimum spec from the datasheet (please see below). This could result in damage to the internal ESD structure of the device and cause permanent damage to it. Try adding a small series resistance to the communication lines to limit the amount of current that the bus drives.
